    AIR BUBBLE FILM PRODUCTION

    Âèñîê³ òåõíîëî㳿 ïëàñòèêà is leading manufacturer of polyethylene air bubble film, it has its own manufacturing base highly equipped to produce polymer products (air bubbles), and has storages with the access roads. We produce polyethylene air bubble film according to the state standard (GOST). We are constantly conducting researches, which help us improve the technological process. That’s why our air bubble film is of a high standard. We were the first company in Ukraine, who in 2003 launch air bubble film production and started making packages from it.

      

    Modern equipment and special technology make it possible to produce air bubble film of required parameters and with different special additives (antistatic, inhibitory etc.). Our experts developed this technology especially for our company that’s why any other company in Ukraine doesn’t produce air bubble film in such a way. Polyethylene air bubble film is resistant to acids (except concentrated nitric acid and sulfuric acid) and alkalis of different concentrations; it also isn’t soluble in organic solvents. Polyethylene air bubble film is used for packaging and it can be used to cover the greenhouses.

    Our air bubble film extruding machine can produce packages various sizes and shapes.

    PRODUCTION TECHNOLOGY

    Pay your attention to the peculiarities of air bubble film production technology, that makes it possible to produce air bubble film of a high physical and mechanical properties:

    Double bubble” technology of making air bubble film orients the film in to two axes by inflating the tube with the help of warm and dry air. The film is oriented to transverse and lengthwise directions. Then on the other line from one polyethylene layer machine forms bubbles and glued one more layer as a basis. This technology makes air bubble film highly strong with superior properties, which any other production method can’t provide.

    We have tested air bubble  made by the slit method and air bubble film made by our  filmDouble bubble” technology in the independent laboratory “The planet of plastic” in order to compare its tenacity and strength.

    We have tested two samples of two-layered air bubble film thickness of 75 microns and width of 35 millimeters, distance between jaws on tensile testing machine 50 millimeters with crosshead speed 500mm/min.

    Strength of two-layered air bubble film made by out technology is higher than the strength of the film made by the slit method.

    About polyethylene

    Polyethylene structure: polyethylene is the product of polymerization of ethylene, which chemical formula is Ñ2Í4.

    Double bond of ethylene breaks in polymerization process and forms polymer chain, the elementary unit of which consists of two atoms of carbon and four atoms of hydrogen.

    In polymerization process polymer chain can occur branching when to the main polymer chain from the side joins short polymer group. Branching of polymer chains prevents close packing of macromolecules and causes formation amorphous crystalline structure of the material and as a result causes decrease of polymer density and decrease of softening point temperature.

    Different branching grade of polyethylene polymer chain of high and low pressure defines the difference of properties of these materials. Different level of polymer chain branching of polyethylene of high and low pressure determines the difference of features of these materials. Chain branching of high pressure polyethylene is 15-25 branches to 1000 carbon atoms in chain; chain branching of low pressure polyethylene is 3-6 branches to1000 carbon atoms in chain. Density, the temperature of melting and softening and the crystal level of high pressure polyethylene is lower than of low pressure polyethylene, which polymerization method determines small branching.
